(English version down this french one) Ces éléments se sont rendus au près de l’unité des FARDC basées à Manguredjipa en Territoire de Lubero, à environs 120 km à l’ouest de la ville de Butembo au Nord Kivu. Ce sont pour le moment 17 miliciens dont 3 femmes, arrivées à Lubero au Commandement 5ème Secteur FARDC. Deux autres éléments sont restés entrain de prendre des soins à Manguredjipa.
A leur tête, un major autoproclamé, un certain Kika Bin Ramazani, l’un des hauts officiers de Luc YABILE, ce général autoproclamé et commandant de cette faction rebelle de l’Union du Peuple pour la Liberté et la Démocratie, UPLD. Selon ce major, la faction rebelle qui s’est rendue est venue de la zone de TSOPO en Territoire de Bafwasende, située à environs 5 jours de marche à pieds au Nord Ouest de Manguredjipa, en Secteur de Bapere, le plus grand secteur du Territoire de Lubero, très connu pour sa richesse en minerais. L’idée de la reddition de cette unité est partie de son souci de participer à la reconstruction du pays, a affirmé Major Kika Bin RAMAZANI. Cet élément rendu appelle son chef Luc YABILI à arrêter de continuer à tracasser les civils dans les carrés miniers mais de se rendre aux FARDC pour participer à la reconstruction du pays. Ces éléments qui se sont rendus sont arrivés à Butembo vendredi 5 septembre 2014. Ils ont dit à GADHOP communication qu’ils se sont rendus avec 7 armes AK47, une grenade et une lance roquette. Ces armes et minutions ont été toutes remises aux FARDC qui décideront de la suite à réserver à ces éléments rendus.
La reddition de ces 19 éléments de l’UPLD arrive au moment où les FARDC menaient dans cette zone une opération dénommée SAFISHA, dirigée contre les groupes armés actifs dans cette zone, dont aussi les Mai Mai SIMBA. Rappelons que ce sont ces Mai Mai faction Luc Yabile qui avaient enlevé en aout dernier des agents de la Commission Electorale Nationale et indépendante telle que déjà informé à travers nos précédents publications. La reddition de ces mai mai vient fragiliser une faction Luc Yabile forte seulement de 250 hommes et très peu de minutions, informent une source digne de foi. La même source indique que Luc Yabile est seulement fort de sa connaissance de cette grande zone forestière et son expérience de bush man rend difficile une opération militaire contre lui, ajouté à cela des difficultés d’accès. C’est une zone sans route et une forêt qui grouille des bêtes sauvages.

North Kivu, 19 elements of Mai Mai UPLD of the rebel Luc Yabile return their weapons to FARDC
These elements flocked to the unit of the FARDCs based to Manguredjipa in Territory of Lubero, to vicinities 120 km to the west of the city of Butembo in the North Kivu Province. To their head, an auto graded regimental adjutant, a certain Kika Bin Ramazani, one of the high officers of Luc YABILE, this auto named general and commander of this rebel faction of the People's Union for the Liberty and the Democracy, UPLD. According to this regimental adjutant, the rebel faction that surrendered came from the zone of TSOPO in Bafwasende Territory, situated to vicinities, 5 days of footing from the north-west of Manguredjipa, in Sector of Bapere, the biggest sector of the Territory of Lubero, widely-known for its wealth in ores. The idea of the surrender of this unit left from his worry to participate in the reconstruction of the country, Regimental adjutant Kika Bin RAMAZANI affirmed. This returned element invites his chief Luc YABILE to stop continuing to worry civilians in the mining squares but to surrender to the FARDCs to participate in the reconstruction of the country. The surrender of these 19 elements of the UPLD arrives when the FARDCS led in this zone an operation named SAFISHA against the active armed groups in this zone. The surrounded of this Mai Mai only comes to weaken a Luc YABILE faction strong of 250 men and very weakly armed, a source worthy of faith informed. The same source indicates that Luc Yabile is only strong of his knowledge of this big forest zone and his experience of bush man makes difficult a military operation against it, added to it of access difficulties. It is a road less zone and a zone that swarms of the wild beasts.
