(English version down this) Les populations des Territoire et Ville de Beni sont loin de retenir leurs larmes au regard des massacres qui se poursuivent dans cette partie de la Province du Nord Kivu. Des personnes armées, identifiées aux ADF ont encore frappés.
Ce nouveau massacre a lieu en Bourgade d’Eringeti, située à environ 30 km au Nord de la Cité d’Oicha. Les bandits armés identifiés aux ADF ont opéré toute la nuit entrant maison par maison, d’où ils ont massacré plus de 20 personnes et blessé plusieurs autres. La plupart des victimes étaient assassinés aux armes blanches et d’autres par balles, un mode opératoire similaire à celui vécu dans les zones précédemment attaquées par des hommes armés ainsi identifiés. Pendant ce temps en Ville de Beni, la population a passé la nuit à la belle étoile, tout comme en cité d’oicha. Autour des feux pour parer à toute éventualité. Dans certains quartiers, des jeunes ont effectué des patrouilles nocturnes pour tenter de détecter des incursions suspectes. Ce nouveau carnage arrive alors que vendredi en ville de Beni, ont été mis en terre les 30 victimes des massacres connus en Ville de Beni Jeudi 16 octobre 2014. La cérémonie a eu lieu sous forte émotion en présence du Gouverneur du Nord Kivu Julien Paluku Kahongya et le président de l’Assemblée Provincial, Monsieur Jules Hakizumwami Habimana aux côtés d’une foule nombreuse en colère, émotion et tristesse. C’est au cimetière de Masiani en Commune de Ruwenzori que reposent désormais les victimes de cette cruauté humaine d’une ambleur jamais vécue dans la Région. Le gouverneur du Nord Kivu, dans une brève allocution funéraire a invité la population à rester confiante que les autorités s’activent pour en finir avec ce carnage.
L’armée et la MONUSCO assistent et participent indirectement aux massacres des populations civiles
La dernière attaque contre Eringeti est édifiante sur le rôle désormais qu’on peut qualifier de passif des FARDC et autres services de sécurité devant un carnage d’une si grande ampleur. Eringeti attaqué, c’est pourtant dans cette bourgade qu’est située la plus grande base des FARDC engagés dans les opérations SOKOLA. Les rebelles ont pris l’habitude d’opérer près des camps militaires soit des FARDC ou de la MONUSCO, mais sans qu’on assiste à une réaction de ces dernières. Cette attaque d’Eringeti a eu lieu au Quartier SUBI (communément appelé ABIALOS), à l’est de la
localité, dans le Groupement BAMBUBA-KISIKI, en Secteur de
BENI-MBAU, c’est à 54km-nord de la Ville de BENI, en Territoire de
BENI, selon la société civile. La population attend des FARDC qu’elles rapportent combien de suspects sont jusque-là mis aux arrêts et les mesures prises pour éviter le pire. Il est pour le moment important que les Forces Armées et leurs partenaires sauvent la face. Si à Beni, lors de la cérémonie d’inhumation des 30 victimes des massacres, le Chef de la MONUSCO, Martin Kobbler a dénoncé un massacre d’une ampleur inacceptable, les Nations Unies, disposant des suffisamment de moyens devraient les mettre en profit de la protection des civils, ce qui ne va pas à l’encontre de son mandat. Dans le contexte actuel, où de 80 personnes ont maintenant été tuées en l’espace de deux semaines, la confiance commence à tarir, en attente d’un signal positif de la part des autorités.
