Il s’appelle SINGA Morgan, surnommé aussi Simba par certains pour sa criminalité, ce jeune homme d’une trentaine d’années continue à semer la terreur dans le sud est du Territoire de Mambasa en Province Orientale.
Actuellement, ce nouveau groupe armé d’à peine une dizaine d’hommes contrôle et fait payer des taxes illicites dans des carrières minières dans les zones sous son contrôle. Ces localités paient actuellement le tribut de la mort controversée du chef Mai Mai Simba Paul Sadala, de sobriquet, Morgan mort en avril dernier en route entre Mambasa et Bunia. Furieux de la mort de leurs chefs, des miliciens encore prêtant allégeance au défunt Morgan, se déchargent sur la population l’accusant de s’être réjouit à la suite de la mort de Paul Sadala. Nos sources sur place indiquent que des graves exactions de viols, vols, extorsions, mutilation, etc. sont opérées par ces hommes armés dans le rayon Makamanda, Camp Libération, Pangoï, Itembo et Magazine, au sud est du Territoire de Mambasa, à l’ouest du Territoire de Beni au Nord Kivu.
Des victimes des exactions contre la nouvelle milice SIMBA
Des sources concordantes informent que dans ces localités sous contrôle de la milice de Singa Morgan, les victimes des exactions se comptent chaque jour. Dans ces agglomérations où les FARDC et la police sont absentes, cette nouvelle milice mit sur le dos de la population. L’une des victimes des ces exactions nous a témoigné que chaque jour, à leur gré, ces milices investissent des carrières minières pour percevoir des sortes des redevances ou simplement extorquer les minerais déjà extrait par les exploitants. Ceux qui osent résister subissent la colère de ces nouveaux chefs rebelles, raconte notre source. Notre informateur nous a illustré qu’une victime est actuellement entrain de suivre des soins en Localité de Kantine, en Territoire de Beni. Les miliciens avaient amputé les oreilles à Shabani, âgé de 23 ans, un habitant de Pangoï, il y a deux mois. Les raisons de ces agissements ne nous a pas été révélée par notre source, qui ajoute que consécutivement à cette insécurité semée par ce nouveau groupe rebelle, nombreux ont préférés fuir la zone et se trouvent présentement dans les villages et cités voisine du Territoire de Mambasa, vers l’ouest des Territoire de Lubero et Beni.

He is called SINGA Morgan, nicknamed Simba by others for his criminal attitude, this young man of about thirty years. He continues to sow terror in the south eastern part of the Territory of Mambasa in Province Oriental.
Currently, this new armed group of hardly about ten men controls and makes pay for the illicit taxes in the mining careers in zones under his control. Our informant illustrated us that a victim is currently liveliness to follow cares in Locality of Kantine, in Territory of Beni. Militiamen had amputated ears to Shabani, aged about 23 years, an inhabitant of Pangoï, two months ago. Reasons of these violations have not been revealed us by our source, that adds that feared of this insecurity sowed by this new group rebels, many habitants preferred to escape the zone and are presently in villages and cities neighbor of the Territory of Mambasa, westward of the District of Lubero and Beni.
